Finance with JA Biztown
Students across Oregon and SW Washington have the unique opportunity to experience their personal financial futures first-hand with JA Finance Park.
JA Finance Park helps students build a foundation upon which they can make intelligent financial decisions that last a lifetime, including decisions related to income, expenses, savings, and credit.
Project LEDO & JA Biztown are partnering to provide the same experience for our schools with economically disadvantaged students (Title I Elementary Schools).
Self-guided curriculum provided for a fully online learning experience that students can access inside or outside the classroom. Modules are self-paced and each one takes an average of five to ten minutes.
Students determine work preferences, rate their interests, abilities and values and then match them to career goals. They will define taxes and explain their purpose and impact on income as well as calculate net monthly income.
